Someone requested some Irish beverage recipes recently, but I can't find that newsletter. Here are 2 recipes from May 1996 Bon Appetit magazine--p.
124, 188. This issue focused totally on the country of Ireland and it's cuisine; I loved it-cover to cover. I must admit that I have a liking for that great Irish beverage export--Bailey's Irish cream (on the rocks);-) Mix whiskey and sugar in pitcher to dissolve sugar. Divide among 6 heatproof glasses. Stud each lemon slice with 4 cloves. Place 1 slice in each glass. Pour ½ cup hot water into each; stir to blend. Posted to KitMailbox Digest by Paula Thompson <paulat@...> on Aug 01, 1997
