Hot punch

Yield: 4 .5 quarts

Measure Ingredient
2½ cup Sugar
4 cups ;Water
2 \N Cinnamon sticks
8 \N Allspice berries, whole
10 \N Cloves, whole
1 \N Ginger, fresh; whole
4 cups Orange juice
4 cups Lemon juice
2 quarts Apple cider

Combine sugar and water. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add spices. Cover and let brew 1 hour. Strain. Before serving, combine syrup, juices and cider. Bring quickly to boil and serve immediately.
