Swiss 'n chicken casserole

2cupsNatural swiss cheese; shred
2cupsCroutons
2cupsCelery; sliced
1cupMiracle whip or light
½cupMilk
¼cupOnion; chopped
Chopped walnuts; optional

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Spoon into 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if desired. Bake 40 minutes or until thoroughly heated. To make ahead: prepare as directed except do not top with walnuts and do not bake; cover. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, microwave on high 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated, turning dish after 10 minutes. Top with toasted walnuts if desired. Source: Kraft mailer, 1995.
