Royal pecan pie

1cupKing Golden Syrup
4eachesEggs, slightly beaten
¼cupBrown sugar, packed
½teaspoonSalt
¼cupSugar
1teaspoonVanilla
2tablespoonsButter, melted
1cupPecans, chopped
Crunch Topping
3tablespoonsKing white syrup
cupBrown sugar, packed
3tablespoonsButter
cupPecans halves

Directions

Mix all filling ingredients and pour into pie shell. Bake for 50-55 minutes at 350. Cover edge of pie shell for last 30 minutes.

Combine all topping ingredients in medium saucepan. Cook 2 to 3 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over top of pie for last 10 minutes of baking.
