Grape-nuts® quick bread

Ingredients

1cupGrape-Nuts® Cereal
2cupsButtermilk, or sour milk
1teaspoonBaking soda
2Egg whites, or 1 egg
1cupSugar
4cupsWhole-wheat flour
4teaspoonsS, baking powder
1teaspoonSalt
1tablespoonOn, canola oil

Directions

Mix Grape Nuts and milk; add soda; stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients and combine thoroughly (batter will be very stiff). Place in two well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. When done remove from pans and brush top of loaves with melted butter.
