Baptist pound cake

Ingredients

| 5 | Eggs, rm temp | |

| 3 | cups | Plain flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Canilla |
| ½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| 1 | tablespoon | Butternut flavoring |
Directions
Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk and flour to first mixture. Add flavorings.
Grease and flour pan. Place in cold over. Turn heat to 350F, and bake ½ hour. then turn heat to 325F and bake 40 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes after taking from oven.
