|1 \N||Stick margarine|
|5 \N||Eggs, rm temp|
|\N \N||Pinch of salt|
|3 cups||Plain flour|
|½ teaspoon||Baking powder|
|1 tablespoon||Butternut flavoring|
Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk and flour to first mixture. Add flavorings.
Grease and flour pan. Place in cold over. Turn heat to 350F, and bake ½ hour. then turn heat to 325F and bake 40 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes after taking from oven.
