Zesty hominy casserole

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Green pepper, chopped
1 cup Onion, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, chopped
½ teaspoon Hot red or green pepper
¼ cup Margarine
2 cans (16 oz) hominy, drained
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
1 Jar (18 oz) cheeze whiz
1 cup Cornflakes, crushed
½ cup Sour cream

Saute pepper, onion, garlic and hot pepper in margarine. Heat hominy, soup, and cheeze whiz in saucepan until heated through, stirring until cheeze whiz melts. Add sauteed mixture, mixing well. Pour into greased or sprayed dish, top with cornflakes. Bake at 350° NOTES : Last dish Grandmother fixed for us had this on the menu.
