Texas slaw

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 medium Cabbage head
1 Sliced onion
½ cup Of sugar
Salt to taste
½ cup Of salad oil
½ cup White vinegar
½ teaspoon Dry mustard
½ teaspoon Celery seed
1 tablespoon Sugar

Sprinkle sugar over shredded cabbage and onions and let stand. Bring to a boil remaining ingredients and pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving
