Tea and fruit punch

| 4 | Bananas; peeled and sliced | |
| 8 | ounces | Seedless grapes or halved and pitted |

| 1½ | pounds | Sugar |
| 5 | Oranges; juice of | |
| 5 | Lemons; juice of | |
| 1 | pint | Ginger ale |
| ½ | pint | Cold tea or herbal tea |
| 1½ | pint | Soda water |
| 1 | Bottle gin or vodka; (optional) | |
Directions
1. Put the fruit in a punch bowl.
2. Heat the water in a pan and dissolve the sugar and the fruit juice, stir well and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over the fruit and set aside to cool.
3. Just before serving, add the ginger ale, tea, soda water and alcohol.

NOTES : Serves 20 plus. To give the punch a kick, you may add a bottle (more or less depending on your taste) of vodka or gin.
