Squash bread

Yield: 1 loaf

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Flour, all-purpose
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Soda
¼ teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
½ teaspoon Nutmeg, ground
1 cup Squash, butternut or acorn; cooked, mashed
2 \N Eggs; beaten
¼ cup Margarine; melted

Combine first 7 ingredients; stir lightly, and set aside.

Combine squash, eggs, and margarine; mix well. Add to flour mixture, stirring only until blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x5x3" loafpan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done.
