Measure | Ingredient |

1 pounds | Washed spinach |
½ teaspoon | Salt |
2 tablespoons | Lard or bacon drippings |
½ teaspoon | Pepper |
1 tablespoon | Shelled pine nuts |
1 tablespoon | Raisins |
Cook Spinach in 1 cup water, 5 minutes and drain well. Melt leaf lard or drippings in saucepan, add spinach, salt and pepper and cook 5 minutes longer. Add nuts and raisins and serve. Serves 4.
