Spinach roman style

Ingredients

1poundsWashed spinach
½teaspoonSalt
2tablespoonsLard or bacon drippings
½teaspoonPepper
1tablespoonShelled pine nuts
1tablespoonRaisins

Directions

Cook Spinach in 1 cup water, 5 minutes and drain well. Melt leaf lard or drippings in saucepan, add spinach, salt and pepper and cook 5 minutes longer. Add nuts and raisins and serve. Serves 4.
