Pop's famous mop sauce

Yield: 50 Ounces

Measure Ingredient
1.00 each Can (12 ozs) beer
4.00 ounce Cooking oil
4.00 ounce Vinegar
22.00 ounce V-8 juice
1.00 each Lemon - squezed
1.00 \N Finely chopped garlic (to taste)
1.00 \N Dash of liquid smoke
1.00 \N Dash of worchestershire sauce
1.00 \N Dash of celery salt
1.00 \N Salt and pepper (to taste)

Mix ingredients. Heat slowly, (but do not boil). Apply often and liberally, better yet, mop it on. Put the sauce in a small metal pot and place the pot on top of the barbeque pit lid so it will stay warm.
