Party cheese-lime salad

Ingredients

2cupsCottage cheese -- creamed
3cupsBoiling water
1teaspoonOnion -- finely chopped
2packs(3oz)each lime jello
1teaspoonGreen pepper -- finely
Chopped
1cupPineapple juice
½cupCucumber -- coarsly chopped
1teaspoonVinegar
½cupCelery -- coarsley chopped
½teaspoonSalt

Directions

Pour boiling water on gelatin in bowl; stir until gelatin is dissolved.

Stir in pineapple juice, vinegar and salt. Pour 1 cup of the gelatin mixture into 8-cup ring mold. Refrigerate until firm.

Refrigerate remaining mixture until slightly thickened but not set; beat with hand beater until light and fluffy. Mix in remaining ingredients; pour on gelatin layer in mold. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold on serving plate.
