Lime salad ring

Ingredients

| 3 | packs | Lime Jello |
| 3 | cups | Hot water |
| 2¼ | cup | Cold water |
| 6 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
| 6 | tablespoons | Mayonnaise |
| 1 | tablespoon | Finely chopped onion |
| 3 | cups | Cottage cheese |
| Lettuce | ||
| 3 | Avacados | |
| Lemon juice | ||
Directions
Dissolve jello in hot water. Add cold water & vinegar. Chill until slightly thickened. Combine mayonnaise, onion & cottage cheese. Mix well. Gradually add slightly thickened jello, blending well. Pour into 3-quart ring mold.
Chill until firm, 4-5 hours or overnight. Unmold on crisp lettuce. Peel & slice avacados & sprinkle with lemon juice. Fill the ring center with avacado & arrange some around the outside. Serve with mayonnaise. Makes 16 servings. Extra touch.....ring can be garnished with shrimp.
