Lime gelatin salad

1cupHot water -- boiling
1packCream cheese -- 8 oz
Softened
½teaspoonVanilla
1canMandarin oranges -- drained
1canCrushed pineapple -- drained
8Oz
1canLemon-lime soda
½cupPecans -- chopped
1cartonCool Whip® -- thawed &

Directions

Dissolve in gelation in water. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in gelatin mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla, oranges, pineapple, soda and pecans. Chill until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon. Fold in ¾ of the whipped topping. Pour into a 13x9x3 inch dish. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares; garnish with the remaining whipped topping. Yield: 16 to 20 servings.
