½cupBeef stock (125mL)
2tablespoonsWorcestershire Sauce (25mL)
2tablespoonsLemon juice (25mL)
2tablespoonsRed wine vinegar (25mL)
¼cupBrown sugar (50mL)
teaspoonDry mustard (7mL)
teaspoonBlack peppercorns; cracked or black pepper (7mL)

Directions

In saucepan, cook onion in butter until softened. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes.

Makes 1½ cups (375mL)
