Hamburger mac-casserole

1 | cup | Leonardo elbow macaroni |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Salt (optional) |
1 | pounds | Hamburger |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
1½ | cup | Milk |
1 | cup | Shredded cheese |
½ | cup | Buttered bread crumbs |
Directions
Cook Leonardo elbows according to directions. Drain. Place in buttered casserole. Melt butter in double boiler. Add flour, salt and pepper and blend. Add milk slowly until sauce thickens. Add shredded cheese. Fry hamburger in fry pan, drain off excess fat, and combine with elbows. Mix thoroughly, add sauce and top with bread crumbs. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F) for 30 minutes.
