Hamburger cheese casserole

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Ground Beef
1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
2 teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Sugar
Pepper to Taste
32 ounces Tomato Sauce
8 ounces Cream Cheese
1 pint Sour Cream
5 Green Onions; Tops and All, Thinly Sliced
12 ounces Medium-Size Egg Noodles
2 cups Grated Cheddar Cheese

Brown the ground beef and pour off grease. Add garlic salt, salt, sugar and pepper. Cook until well blended and add tomato sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Soften the cream cheese and mix with the sour cream and sliced onions.

Cook noodles as directed on package and drain.

In a buttered 4-quart casserole layer ingredients in this order: noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture, grated cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for

30 minutes.
