Drunken cheese spread

Ingredients

1 | pounds | Roquefort cheese |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
1 | teaspoon | Hungarian paprika |
½ | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
Salt; to taste | ||
Freshly ground black pepper; to taste | ||
⅓ | cup | Port wine |
Directions
Combine all ingredients, except wine, in a bowl and blend with electric mixer until smooth. Gradually beat in Port and continue beating until light and creamy. Fill small covered jars or earthenware pots with mixture. Place a piece of waxed paper (cut to fit) over the top of the cheese. Cover the jar and store in the refrigerator. Serve with crackers. The small jars/pots of spread make great gifts.
