Creamy slaw

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 small Can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
4 cups Shredded cabbage
1 Stalk celery, diced
¼ cup Cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Sugar
¼ teaspoon Celery seed
½ cup Mayonnaise or Salad dressing
1 Carrot, shredded

Stir together milk, vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, pepper and mayonnaise. Chill until ready to serve. Combine cabbage, carrot and celery. Chill. To serve: pour dressing mixture over cabbage mixture. Toss to coat well. Serve immediately.
