Company casserole #1

Yield: 10 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground chuck
1 tablespoon Butter
2 cans (8-oz) tomato sauce (up to)
12 ounces Noodles
1 cup Cottage cheese
1 pack (8-oz) cream cheese
¼ cup Thick sour cream
⅓ cup Onion; chopped
2 tablespoons Bell pepper; chopped
2 tablespoons Melted butter

Brown meat in 1 tablespoon butter. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. Boil noodles in salted water; drain. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, onion, green pepper and sour cream; mix well. In a buttered casserole, spread half the noodles. Cover with cheese mixture; then make another layer of noodles. Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over the top layer of noodles. Put hamburger sauce on top. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. A real good buffet casserole that feeds 10 to 15 people.
