Yield: 10 Servings
|1 pounds||Ground chuck|
|2 cans||(8-oz) tomato sauce (up to)|
|1 cup||Cottage cheese|
|1 pack||(8-oz) cream cheese|
|¼ cup||Thick sour cream|
|⅓ cup||Onion; chopped|
|2 tablespoons||Bell pepper; chopped|
|2 tablespoons||Melted butter|
Brown meat in 1 tablespoon butter. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. Boil noodles in salted water; drain. Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, onion, green pepper and sour cream; mix well. In a buttered casserole, spread half the noodles. Cover with cheese mixture; then make another layer of noodles. Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over the top layer of noodles. Put hamburger sauce on top. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. A real good buffet casserole that feeds 10 to 15 people.
