Captain's casserole

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1⅓ cup Cooked rice
½ teaspoon Oregano
1 dash Pepper
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon Minced onion; (or 1/8 cup chopped onion)
1 large (or 2 small) can of tuna
1 can Cream mushroom or celery soup
½ cup Milk
⅔ cup Grated cheddar cheese

Combine rice, oregano and pepper in bottom of 1½ quart microwaveable bowl. Stir in tomato sauce. Layer onion and tuna over rice. Heat soup, milk and cheese until cheese melts. Pour over tuna. Heat in microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes.

NOTE: I have made it in the oven, also. To do this, just mix the soup, milk, and cheese, pour it over the tuna and rice, and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
