Chip beef casserole

| Unsalted water | ||
| 3 | tablespoons | Butter |
| ¼ | pounds | Chipped beef |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped green pepper |
| 3 | tablespoons | Flour |
| 1½ | cup | Milk |
| ¾ | cup | Grated American cheese |
| Pepper to taste | ||
Directions
Cook and drain macaroni. In a skillet put butter, beef and green peppers, stir in flour a little at a time. Mix until smooth; then add milk. Cook until thick, add cheese and melt.
