Cajun hamburgers

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Lean ground beef
1 Green bell pepper; cored seeded and minced
½ cup Chopped scallions
3 Garlic cloves; minced
2 teaspoons Ground cumin
2 teaspoons Dried oregano
1 teaspoon Dried thyme
1 teaspoon Paprika
Red pepper flakes; to taste
Salt; to taste
6 Hamburger buns; toasted
Sliced tomatoes
Sour cream

Combine beef, green pepper, scallions and garlic in a mixing bowl. Add cumin, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes and salt to taste; mix until blended. Shape into 6 patties.

Broil, fry or grill the meat to desired doneness. Place on toasted buns and top with tomatoes and sour cream.
