Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Plain flour |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Cayenne pepper |
| ½ | cup | Green onion |
| ½ | cup | Corn |
| ½ | cup | Buttermilk |
| 2 | Beaten eggs | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Hot oil |
Directions
Heat enough peanut oil for deep frying in skillet to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients well and drop by spoonful into hot oil. Fry until golden. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towel. Serve while warm.
Wonderful with fried fish, and coleslaw.
