|2 cups||Self-rising white cornmeal mix|
|1 medium||Onion; finely chopped|
|½ teaspoon||Black pepper|
|¾ cup||Milk or buttermilk|
Mix dry ingredients and onion together. Mix in the egg and milk/buttermilk.
This should be a thick moist mixture.
