Festive fruit salad

Measure Ingredient
1 can Pineapple chunks -- 20 oz
½ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
1 each Egg -- lightly beaten
2 cans Mandarin oranges -- drained
11 ounces Ea.
1 can Pears -- 20 oz
\N \N Drained/choppe
3 eaches Kiwifruit -- peeled and
\N \N Sliced
2 larges Apples -- unpeeled chopped
1 cup Pecan halves

Drain pneapple, reserving juice. Set pineapple aside. Pour juice into a small sauce pan; add sugar and flour. Bring to a boil. quickly stir in egg; cook until thickened. Remove from the heat; cool.

Refrigerate. in a large bowl, combine pineapple, oranges, pears, kiwi, apples and pecans. Pour dressing over and blend well. Cover and chill for l hour. Yield: 12-16 servings Recipe By : Taste of Home
