Wilted cabbage salad

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 large Head of cabbage, shredded
1 medium Onion, sliced
¾ cup Sugar
¾ cup Salad oil
1 cup Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Dried mustard
1 teaspoon Celery seed
1 teaspoon Sugar

Layer cabbage and onion in a bowl. Pour sugar on top but DO NOT MIX.

Bring other ingredients to a boil. Pour hot dressing over cabbage, onion and sugar. Let stand for at least 3 hours but better overnight. Mix before serving. Randy Rigg Submitted By RANDY RIGG On 03-30-95
