Traditional spinach dip

Thawed & drained well
8ouncesSour cream
8ouncesMayonnaise
1packKnorr's dry vegetable soup
Mix
2bunchesGreen onion, chopped
1smallCan chopped Waterchestnuts
(optional)
1poundsLoaf of light or dark rye
Bread, round and uncut

Directions

Mix together all ingredients (except bread) and chill. To serve, hollow out the round, unsliced loaf of rye bread. Fill center with dip, and use pieces of the bread to scoop and eat. Crackers may also be used instead of the bread for serving.
