Spicy kansas city barbecue sauce

Measure Ingredient
1 each Chopped medium onion
1 each Minced garlic clove
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1½ cup Ketchup
2 tablespoons Firm packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Italian dressing
½ teaspoon Liquid smoke
¼ teaspoon Dry mustard
¼ teaspoon Cracked black pepper
¼ teaspoon Hot pepper sauce

In medium saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until soft about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes until thickened.
