Rose's egyptian rice

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground chuck
1 \N Small onion, chopped
2 cans Beef consomme
2 tablespoons To 3 soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 \N Jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup Raw rice
\N \N Salt and pepper to taste

Brown hamburger & onion. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until rice is done. To serve, put on top a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
