Italian rice

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 medium Onion -- halved & sliced
1 cup Rice
½ cup Water
1 can Low sodium beef broth
\N \N *SEE NOTE
1 can Cream of mushroom soup,
\N \N Condensed
½ \N Stick stick margarine

Brown onion in margarine. Pour into 1½ quart baking dish. Add all remaining ingredients. Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 ½ hours.

NOTE: For a side dish to complement chicken, substitute low sodium chicken broth for the beef broth.
