Egyptian rice

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef
1 small Onion
Salt & pepper to taste
3 tablespoons Soy sauce
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cans Beef bouillon soup
1½ cup Raw rice
¾ can Mushrooms
½ cup Toasted slivered almonds

Chop onion, then brown with meat in small amount of oil. Cook until meat is done. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce & soup. Pour raw rice in but do not mix rice; just pour it in. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes; add mushrooms & slivered almonds. Cook 2 more minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
