No peek beef casserole

Measure Ingredient
2 pounds Stew beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 \N 1-3/8-ounce envelope dry onion soup mix
½ cup Red wine
1 \N 10 1/2-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 \N 4-ounce can whole mushrooms

Combine all ingredients in CROCK-POT. Stir together well Cover and cook on Low 8 to 12 hours. Serve over noodles or rice. (High: 3 to 4 hours). Serves 4. This recipe may be doubled. From Rival Crock-pot cook book, date unknown
