Meat loaf for microwave

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Ground beef
1 Egg
¼ cup Dry bread crumbs -or-
1 slice Bread; crumbled
¼ cup Chopped onion -or-
1 tablespoon Instant minced onion
¼ cup Milk
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Garlic salt -or-
⅛ teaspoon Instant minced garlic
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
Ketchup or barbecue sauce; optional

In large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Press evenly in 1-½ quart loaf dish. If desired, top with ketchup. Cook, covered with waxed paper, 8 minutes, or until done. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 5-6. Meat loaf can be frozen before cooking. Use within 1 month. Cook 8 minutes, let rest 5 minutes and cook 8 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
