3 eaches | Slices of bread torn into Small pieces -or- |
½ cup | Dry Bread crumbs -or- |
¼ cup | Quick cooking oats |
1 each | Egg |
1 tablespoon | Worcestershire Sauce |
⅛ teaspoon | Garlic powder |
1 small | Onion |
½ cup | Ketchup, chili sauce -or- |
½ cup | Barbecue sauce |
Heat oven to 350 F. Mix all ingredients except ketchup. Spread mixture in loaf pan, 8½ X 4 ½ X 2 ½ or 9 X 5 X 3 inches, or shape loaf in rectangular pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches. Spoon ketchup over top. Bake 1 to 1 ¼ hours or until done. Remove from pan. 6 servings; 375 calories per serving.
To Microwave: Prepare as directed - except shape into 6 small loaves.
Place in rectangular microwavable dish, 11 X 7 X 1 ½ inches. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 14 to 17 minutes, rotating dish ½ turn after 7 minutes. Let stand on flat, heatproof surface (not wire rack) 5 minutes.
