Marshmallow cake filling (thomas)

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
1 cup White corn syrup
2 tablespoons Unflavored gelatin
½ cup Cold water

Mix together sugar and syrup; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin which has been softened in cold water. Chill mixture until cold and very thick. Beat 6 to 8 minutes at high speed of mixer until very fluffy.

This cookbook is so old the cover is torn off and the pages are orange.

It's published by Favorite Recipe Press and they put out a whole series of cookbooks called "Favorite Recipes of Economics Teachers"; year unknown.
