Measure | Ingredient |

1 cup | Maple syrup |
1 cup | Ketsup |
1 cup | Onion; finely chopped |
¼ cup | Brown sugar; packed |
¼ cup | Apple cider vinegar |
¼ cup | Lemon juice |
¼ cup | Water |
2 tablespoons | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons | Garlic; minced |
2 teaspoons | Lemon rind; grated |
1 teaspoon | Salt |
¼ teaspoon | Tabasco sauce |
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cool.
Pour mixture into container of an electric blender or processor; process until smooth.
NOTES : Yield: 3½ cups. Can be used as a marinate or barbecue sauce on chicken, pork or hamburgers. Use 1 cup per average meal. Refrigerate sauce up to 1 month.
