Maple barbecue sauce

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Ketchup
¼ teaspoon Cloves
2 cups Maple syrup
4 Cloves garlic; minced
1½ cup White wine
½ teaspoon Ginger
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
2 teaspoons Thyme
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Basil
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Chili powder

Combine all ingredients, bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until thick (2-3 hours). Very good on pork, chicken, and beef.
