¾ cup | Granulated Sugar |
⅓ cup | Confectioners sugar,+ 1 ts |

½ cup | Lemon juice |
Mix flour and ⅓ cup confectioners sugar in a medium sized bowl.
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles small peas. Mixture will be dry and crumbly. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Beat the eggs with an electric mixer on high in a medium sized bowl about three minutes or until pale and thickened. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue beating one minute or longer unitl mixture is thick. Stir in lemon juice. Pour into hot crust aand bake 15 minutes or until a pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon confectioners sugar. Cool in pan on rack. Cut in 4 x 1 inch bars. Makes 16.
