Hot potatoe salad (horky bramborovy salat)--czech

Measure Ingredient

Boil desired number of poptatoes in skin until tender. Remove skins.

Fry 3 or 4 slices cubed bacon. Mix ¼ cup sugar and scant tablespoon flour and pour into bacon. At once add ½ c. vinegar mixed with ¼ c. water, bring to a boil, cool, add one whole egg, bring to boil again and beat vigorously so that egg does not curdle.

Pour over sliced potatoes, cubed celery, onions, and two or three boiled eggs, sliced. Mix and serve warm.
