Homemade fudge sauce

1cupDutch processed unsweetened cocoa powder
½teaspoonCinnamon
1cupHeavy cream
½cupMilk
¼cupHazlenut or other nut flavored liqueur
½cupButter, cut in eight pieces
2teaspoonsVanilla

Directions

MAKES: 3 CUPS

Mix together sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon in large heavy bottomed saucepan until no lumps remain. Add cream, milk , and liqueur and stir until smooth. Bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, cool 15 minutes, stir in butter until melted. Stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
