2 Unsweetened chocolate square cut-up
1 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
dash Salt
2 tablespoons Light corn syrup
¾ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Cook, stirring, until mixture is smooth and blended, about 5 mins. 2. Add sugar, salt, and corn syrup. Increase heat to medium and cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils. Continue boiling, without stirring, until mixture reaches 220 F on a candy thermometer or until ½ tsp dropped into a glass of cold water forms a soft mass, about 20 mins. Stir in vanilla. 3. Serve hot or cold over ice cream or cake. Store sauce in a covered jar in refrigerator.
