Herman double-chocolate brownies

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Butter, room temperature
1 cup Granulated sugar
1 cup Packed brown sugar
4 xes Eggs
½ cup Unsweetened cocoa
1½ cup Flour
½ teaspoon Salt
½ cup Herman Sourdough Starter
1 tablespoon Vanilla
¾ cup Semisweet chocolate pieces
½ cup Chopped nuts

In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir dry ingredients together. Combine starter and vanilla; add alternately with dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Spread in greased 11½ x 7 ½ x 1 ½" pan. Sprinkle chocolate and nuts on top. Bake in preheated 350F oven 30 min.
