Garbanzo-oat waffles

Ingredients

1cupAM Oat Flakes
½cupAM Garbanzo Flour
cupWater
1tablespoonAM Unrefined Vegetable Oil
2teaspoonsHoney
¼teaspoonSea salt, or more (optional)
½teaspoonNon-alum baking powder

Directions

Preheat waffle iron.

Place oatmeal in blender. Grind into coarse flour. Add all remaining ingredients. Blend. Let sit a few minutes. Blend again for 2 seconds. Pour into hot, well-oiled waffle iron. Bake 5 to 8 minutes.

VARIATION: May replace ¼ cup water with 1 egg.
