Everyday herb rice

Ingredients

| 1 | tablespoon | Dried onion flakes |
| ½ | tablespoon | Dried celery flakes |
| 2 | tablespoons | Dried parsley |
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried garlic flakes |
| 1 | tablespoon | Dried green pepper flakes |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground tumeric |
| 1 | tablespoon | Chicken flavored granules or bouillion |
| 1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | pinch | Ground cloves |
| ½ | cup | Wild OR brown rice |
| 2½ | cup | Water |
| 1 | cup | Chopped scallion, green with some white |
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and the herb mixture. Bring to a boil, partially cover, lower the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked. Fluff with a fork. Fold in the scallions and serve at once.
