Crown jewel salad

Ingredients

| 1 | pack | Gelatin, unflavored |
| ¾ | cup | Water; cold |
| ¾ | cup | Mayonnaise |
| 3 | ounces | Cream cheese; softened |
| 6 | ounces | Gelatin, lemon-flavored |
| 2 | cups | Water; boiling |
| 1½ | cup | Ginger ale |
| 1 | cup | Grapes, seedless; sliced |
| 1 | cup | Banana slices |
| ½ | cup | Cherries, maraschino; sliced |
Directions
Soften gelatin in cold water; stir over low heat until dissolved.
Combine salad dressing and cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
Stir in softened gelatin and blend well. Pour into a 2-quart mold; chill until firm.
Dissolve lemon-flavored gelatin in boiling water; add ginger ale.
Chill until slighlty thickened. Fold in grapes, banana slices, and cherries. Pour over molded gelatin layer. Chill until firm.
