1 pack | Gelatin, unflavored |
¾ cup | Water; cold |
¾ cup | Mayonnaise |
3 ounces | Cream cheese; softened |
6 ounces | Gelatin, lemon-flavored |
2 cups | Water; boiling |
1½ cup | Ginger ale |
1 cup | Grapes, seedless; sliced |
1 cup | Banana slices |
½ cup | Cherries, maraschino; sliced |
Soften gelatin in cold water; stir over low heat until dissolved.
Combine salad dressing and cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
Stir in softened gelatin and blend well. Pour into a 2-quart mold; chill until firm.
Dissolve lemon-flavored gelatin in boiling water; add ginger ale.
Chill until slighlty thickened. Fold in grapes, banana slices, and cherries. Pour over molded gelatin layer. Chill until firm.
