Garden salad

Measure Ingredient
½ \N Boston lettuce, head
6 larges Romaine lettuce leaves
½ cup Red cabbage, shredded
½ medium Sweet red pepper
1 small Zucchini, sliced
1 small Carrot, sliced
2 tablespoons Dill, fresh, coarsely choppd
4 tablespoons Lemon juice
4 tablespoons Rice vinegar
½ teaspoon Basil
½ teaspoon Thyme
¼ teaspoon Dry mustard

Here's a basic, but verhy tasty, fiber filled salad that you'll want to accompany a main meal. Make the salad and dressing in big batches so you'll always have it on hand.

Slice red pepper lengthwise into thin strips.

Tear the boston and romaine lettuces into large bite-sized pieces.

Place in a large salad bowl. Add the cabbage, peppers, zucchini, carrots and dill.

In a small jar, combine the lemon juice, vinegar, basil, thyme and mustard. Shake well and pour over vegetables, Toss well.
