Corn bread #4

Yield: 9 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1¼ cup Flour
¾ cup Corn meal
¼ cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt (optional)
1 cup Skim milk
¼ cup Vegetable oil (I suppose canola would be \"healthier\" (?))
2 \N Egg whites -or-
1 \N Egg; beaten

From: mrwoychick@... (Mrwoychick) Date: Tue, 22 Nov 1994 18:35:12 +0000 Heat oven to 400 deg F. Grease 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Combine dry ingredients.

Stir in milk, oil, and egg, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into pan. Bake 20-25 min or until light golden brown and wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. 9 servings.
