Coney island hot dog sauce

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Margarine
1½ pounds Ground beef
2 \N Onions, chopped
1 \N Clove garlic, crushed salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Chilli powder
1 tablespoon Prepared mustard
1 \N 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 \N 6 oz. can water
13/16 \N Hot dogs, as you want

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients; but the hot dogs. Simmer until thick. DO NOT BROWN GROUND BEEF FIRST! In a food processor fitted with a metal blade or a meat grinder, grind the hot dogs & add to the sauce; stir. Cook 15 minutes longer.

Serve this sauce over hot dogs in buns.
